NUSTEM Annual report 2024/25 – NUSTEM

As we start to gear up for the new academic year, we’ve taken a bit of time to look back at what we’ve achieved as a team over the past year, and the past 10 years!

The report outlines how NUSTEM is supporting Northumbria University’s 2030 strategy by:

• Sharing interesting and engaging STEM activities with children and families
• Supporting teachers and STEM professionals, through in-person support and through online resources
• Collaborating with other organisations to improve and broaden STEM engagement activities across the UK
• Sharing good practice through workshops and presentations and by publishing articles in peer-reviewed journals and teacher magazines.

Over the space of the academic year 2024-25 we have had over 11,000 interactions with children of all ages, their families, teachers and with the wider STEM community.

Our celebration event, tenustem, took place on 9th July, and we were able to share the following stats about just what we’ve been doing since June 2014.
